7x BB raises pre flop don't usually mean strength.
Also if you got 2 callers that makes the pot 2100+, an 800 bet is not a big bet. Your story in this hand is very inconsistent with a big hand, it wouldn't take much to realise QQ is probably good here.
surley a raise pre flop you think i got something?
if he thought he was infront why not re-raise on the turn instead of giving me a free card to catch up?i feelo he played it bad but thats my opinion, not re-raisng pre flop when he had 1 to act after him knowing that hes gonna call the raise for nearly 3-1 returns, its not just this one hand it just goes on and on ,ive never ever complained of bad beats as i dish them out so often im just fed up of reading people perfect for what they got and still they make silly calls.,.,.how can you risk your tournament on a ak high flop when you got qq.,.,if you do that i can assure you you will never win,,,,,
Something yes, a big hand no.
Why re-raise when you will just push the river giving him maximum value for his hand? I don't like his flat call pre flop, other than that the only big errors in this hand i think came from you, bet 1600 on the flop instead of 800 and he would probably pass. I don't see how he knows someone else will call a 7xBB raise though!
You can't change other peoples game, but you can change your own, you said you have changed your game to being that of a rock yet you raise 7xbb with a mid pair then fire 3 streets on a bluff, that is not exactly rocky!
Calling with QQ on an AKx board is usually a losing play but there are plenty of times where it is correct and this was clearly one!
Then again i did call of £75 last night with K hi in a cash game, i nearly won, he only had T hi (
straight)
