A True Crapshoot Tourney....
«

I just played an "Extreme Turbo" $50 Sit'n'go 5-seater on prima. I've never seen anything like it. We each start with 1000 chips with 10/20 blinds... and the blinds double every TWO hands. Seriously the game was over in 5minutes. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. How are there really tournies like this? I somehow won it and took $175 for my troubles after a few outdraws delivered by me. It really was all in every hand in the last 3 though. After 14 hands the blinds were at 640/1280, with just 6k chips in play.
Has anyone ever played one of these before? Unreal.

Those tournaments are just a joke, you wont learn anything by playing them but i guess you just wanted to tell the world you won, so in future get it quietly

Of course I wasn't bragging at all about winning. It was a pathetic tournement that I played by mistake and of course got purely lucky to win. I just wondered if anyone else had played these before and what they thought of them? I can't believe there would be people who actually know what these tournements are like and would still choose to play them? Pure gamblers I guess.

Well, you know when your missus wants you to drive her to the supermarket, and you are dragging your feet. You eventually agree and then she goes to get ready. You can get about 6 of these tournies in, so you still get your fix

Coca, I played a few of these a while ago. You can almost fold to the money in most of 'em. Better to let others loose rather than you win sort of strategy. Other than that my Nan could play 'em with her bingo wings flapping and her dabber pen getting a hammering. >:?
