I had the most amazing run of hands in this game , Flopped a full house 1st hand , Hit Full House again in 2nd hand.

Then got Aces twice in a row , 2nd time doubling through pocket Kings Blind on Blind.

Has any body else ever had a run like this and what are the odds of getting 2 Full Houses or Aces one after the other ?

 1st .

(0.10|0.20 No Limit - Cash Game)

- bigsump sitting in seat 1 with $13.27
- patdleese sitting in seat 2 with $34.93
- lindsay73 sitting in seat 3 with $17.86
- Jack2310 sitting in seat 4 with $22.94 [Dealer]
- vegardmel sitting in seat 5 with $7.57
- Jak-the-lad sitting in seat 6 with $13.35

vegardmel posted the small blind - $0.10
Jak-the-lad posted the big blind - $0.20

** Dealing card to Jack2310:
bigsump folded
patdleese folded
lindsay73 called - $0.20
Jack2310 raised - $1.20
vegardmel folded
Jak-the-lad folded
lindsay73 called - $1.20

** Dealing the flop:
lindsay73 checked
Jack2310 checked

** Dealing the turn:
lindsay73 bet - $1.35
Jack2310 raised - $2.70
lindsay73 raised - $6.07
Jack2310 called - $6.07

** Dealing the river:
lindsay73 bet - $7.42
Jack2310 raised - $14.84
lindsay73 went all-in - $3.17
lindsay73 shows:
Jack2310 shows:
Jack2310 wins $34.22 from the main pot

suppose this is what happens when you call pre flop raises with

 2nd .

[Hold 'em] (0.10|0.20 No Limit - Cash Game)

- bigsump sitting in seat 1 with $13.07

** Dealing the flop:  two spades
bigsump checked
Jack2310 checked
vegardmel checked

** Dealing the turn:

** Dealing the river:
bigsump bet - $1.20
Jack2310 raised - $3.60
bigsump went all-in - $10.87
Jack2310 called - $12.07
bigsump shows:
Jack2310 shows:
Jack2310 wins $26.09 from the main pot

took a chance checking the flop , and he did hit but i slowed down because of the clubs , imo he made a mistake
 pushing on the river

3rd , i had AA and won a small pot

by this point the players were giving me grief cos of the lucky hands

 then this happened

 4ht in a row

[Hold 'em] (0.10|0.20 No Limit - Cash Game)

- bigsump sitting in seat 1 with $0.00 [Sitting out]
- patdleese sitting in seat 2 with $32.53 [Dealer]
- lindsay73 sitting in seat 3 with $0.00 [Sitting out]
- Jack2310 sitting in seat 4 with $54.18
- vegardmel sitting in seat 5 with $6.57

Jack2310 posted the small blind - $0.10
vegardmel posted the big blind - $0.20

** Dealing card to Jack2310:
patdleese folded
Jack2310 called - $0.20
vegardmel bet - $1.20
Jack2310 raised - $2.20
vegardmel went all-in - $5.57
Jack2310 called - $6.77

** Dealing the flop:  Two Diamonds

** Dealing the turn:

** Dealing the river:
vegardmel shows:

most incredible run of cards ive ever had i think , any other similar experiences anyone ??

Very nice, quick question though. why do you think the guy with a full house with his 6'es made a mistake pushing on the river? Why would he not get his money in there?

i just felt , maybe im wrong , there aren't many hands id check the flop with which id call with unless he was beat !

the way i played it , i dont think he would think id  have checked    , or Flush draw , perhaps he wasnt thinking about what i held , maybe he thought hed trapped me when i raised him on the river ,but if he thought about it , what kind of hand am i calling with when ive raised pre flop , checked the flop , flat called small bet on turn , and min raised his river bet Huh?

id imagine QQ , 10 10 or Q 10 ! perhaps      , just felt there was no real value in his push.

but its low stakes and im maybe thinking in too much detail for that level , lol.

exactly...how could you not raise 66 here? Not raising it is a losing play at any level.

well what hands are going to call you ? or come over the top ? AQ or Flush is only hand that calls.

does AQ check flop with str8 and Flush draw available ? perhaps the fllush would call but hes not value betting , hes betting with a hand that can be beaten by , reallistically , QQ , 10 10 , or Q 10 , i just dont think there is the need for him to put all his money at risk with a small full house when ive already raised him remember , hes re - re - raising , surely he must have an idea he may be beat ?

maybe im analysing this too much. but that is just my view of the hand

you are over analyzing this I think. (Or you're just too tight)

He would be called by most Queens with a decent kicker. By the nut flush by pocket 2's etc. you simply can not fold a full house here and you have to get all your money in. We are not talking about him playing 200-400$ levels and sitting with 500k in front of him.

He got beat but he made exactly the right play and I dare say if you have folded pocket 6's in this sort of situation in the past that will most likely have cost you money and not saved it.
