Amaretto Rose is a huge trends selection and will carry the majority of my stake.  I also like Rindoon & Granit Jack for the places.

I cannot separate Fair Along, Don't Push It & Buena Vista in the Arkle, not sure what to do with the stakes on this yet.

Hardy Eustace is another huge trends selection for the Champion Hurdle (only being 10 is of slight concern).  I fancy Straw Bear & Sublimity to place.  LAY Detriot City (he is a 5yo and cannot win).

No strong trends in the next, will be keeping stakes low.  3 against the field are Distant Thunder, Rambling Minster & King Harald.

I can't split Spotthedifference & Headsontheground in the Cross Country Chase, I like Never Compromise to place also.

And finally the mine-field that is the Fred Winter Hurdle.  Again low stakes due to lack of trends and a mighty 6 against the field (all at big ish prices).  Hopefully the winner will come from Junior, Jayo, Deputy Consort, Altihar, Silver Jaro & Shazand.

Here's hoping for a few winners to get the money in for the rest of the week.

ok, ok, my Final Selections for Day 1.

2.00 Amaretto Rose, Rindoon.  (Exactas with Amaretto Rose to beat Rindoon + Orbit D'Gold)

2.35 Don't Push it

3.15 No Bet. Cannot seperate Detroit City and Hardy Eustace anymore. Will watch the race cheering for the old champion, but also watching out for the superstar young pretender.

4.00 Distant Thunder, New Alco. (Heltornic each way also from antepost).

4.40 Never Compromise EW

5.20 Belord, Shazand EW. (But moreso cheering for Gasapara). But to tell the truth, don't fancy it overly.

I have had a couple of other bets..Hardy eustace to win by less then 2.5 lenghts @9-1 (what a price!!) you can do the same with detroit city but @ 8-1 (if he would win it won't be by more then 2 lenghts)
I also have this in a double with Fair Along..the more I see this horse the more I think he is the winner of this race.

A fun bet at Laddies.

Granit Jack, Jack the Giant and Native Jack all to place @50-1 The first two haev a great shout and the last is a bit of a gamble but is capable on his day.
