Ok, just had a call from a friend who was playing on Full tilt poker. now to cut a long conversation short a royal flush (diamonds) appeared on the board, ok, my mate goes all in thinking its a split pot, the remaining player goes all in as well, showdown, my friend AK spades other guy 89 of diamonds. The caller with 89 of diamonds wins the pot!! how can this be??? I have never heard of anything like this before. I have told him to email them asking for an explaination. He also did a screen save as well so i have seen the showdown. Is it me? have I missed something glaringly obvious??

Do you have the screen shot?

Defintiely Texas and not Omaha?

Sounds like a software error.

how does the hand history explain his win - what does it say you had vs what he had... that'll be the best bet i reckon

I have the screen shot and it just says the guy showed 89 of diamonds and wins £1042 with a royal flush. Unreal.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
