Horrific image of Snoppy slumped in the corner of the shower  those power showers are liable to do considerable damage to a beagle

Are there any entertaining Jen Goes Drinking anecdotes from last night?

Er... when I trunlded into the bar, Jen was on her laptop, being very nerdy indeed.

Not even seen yesterday;'s Update yet, but I;'m sure it as superb, as usual.

Good luck today to the Updaters, they'll need it with some of those names, & the dreaded carrot-cruncher Boo on their case.

Here's Kevin O'Connell, the only Dusk Til Dawn player today we think.

Juha Helppi and Barney Boatman, tablemates.

Azad Pirooti (of Team Buddha), Katja Thater (Praying for Aces), Ash Hussain.

Not too many Irishmen here this week, but I did spot this chap among the rabble... Simon Kelly.

Simon is a buddy of Andy Black and was retelling how Andy couldn't make up his mind about Poland, perhaps due to the lack of TV coverage. But, in true Andy Black style (I understand he's a bit of a livewire), he rang Simon up at the very last minute saying, "Book me a flight, I'm on my way over", so he's very much a spur of the moment type of character.

As for Simon, he's a pretty quiet lad, but a top bloke nonetheless. He's seated next to Pascal Perrault, who he just played a small pot with, the latter taking it down with an A-T on an A-8-Q-K-6 board.

Dusk Till Dawn's Kevin O'Connell is looking slightly disgruntled, and rightly so because his stack has just taken a slight knock.

With three or four players seeing a flop, 'whiskey' (I think we can all guess why he's called that) made a bet of 300 on a Flop only for Anders Berg to make a swift call.

The Turn came the 7 of Spades and Kevin bet out again, this time 600, which, once again, was briskly called by the reserved Norwegian.

River = three diamonds

Kevin made another 600 bet only for Anders to raise it up to 1,500. Clearly not a believer, or perhaps unable to fold a set or whatever Kevin held, Mr Whiskey made the call, but soon mucked his cards with a tut when he spotted Berg's .

Looking at yesterday's chip counts, looks like my bowl of rice has gone under the radar...

Never been knocked out between days before!

Yes, an error on the official list I believe. Not even the board in the cardroom which displays the previous day's chip counts has included you.

You're not exactly hard to miss, you're over 7 foot aren't you??

A pacing Nic Slade caught me during the opening stages, but I don't think it was a good time for me to call him 'Nicholas' (he wasn't happy about that one) as he'd just lost a chunk of chips.

"I got Scandied. Hit two pair with my J-T and bet out 1,800 on the Turn, but he called and hit a 7 on the River to make his open ended straight. I thought he was bluffing it so called his 2.5k."

Elky, looking like a wasp has flown in his ear, and Ben Grundy.

Henning Bolstad (Huge Crypto-raker and my pick today) and Jani Sointula.

Hang on....we may have to have a Vigo-off against Thomas Fourgeron here. Roll Eyes

Good luck to the Welsh Wizard Iwan Jones andthe Plastic Paddy Roy the Boy. Great work yesterday boys, just caught up....same again please

Thanks, Jeff, but please explain Roy's latest moniker.

Roy being a plastic paddy with his gorblimey cockney acccent, think it's self explanatory. A german waitress asked if we were english in a restaurant in dortmund last week (like it's not obvious, eight steak and chips and eight pints of lager) and when Roy said he was Irish she aplogised for not recognising the accent! Anyway, wherever he's from, tell him nothing less than 55k by the end of the day.
