John Conroy is still alive and kicking, last seen raising it up to 1,150 before folding to a 1.5k Turn bet from Jerome Noyon on a board of 4s-4c-Kh-Th.

Currently on 11,150.

Slade is also struggling with just 10k after running a set of Fives into a set of Kings and Tens into Ben Grundy's Kings.

Benjamin Kang takes out Thomas Mathisen, the latter pushed with A-K against the lead on the turn of an J-T-4-A board and was called instantly by Kang's K-Q

No Queen on the river for a split. Kang up to 30k.

There's a narrow gap that guides the press and players towards the back set of five tables, but now that gap is filled with spectators, as it probably will be near the latter stages, thereby making it harder to pass through. The reason for this sudden congestion is the moving of tables of the Flying Dutchman, Marcel Luske, who seems to be the major attraction of most of these European comps. Also, on his table is Hendonmobber 'Rocky' Ross Boatman who, along with his short-sleeve shirt, shades and whatever that thing is he seems to be chewing, is as calm and collective as ever and seemingly unmoved by Marcel's presence. The other players at the table, however, are less unmoved, slightly more uptight than they were previously. All this is very strange, because even though he carries with him many low denomination chips to give off the impression of a big stack, this is nigh on impossible with just 3k, therefore making him much less formidable of opponent.

Bit of a hoohaa on Table Helppi again. For the fourth time now, they've found a marked card.

Nick Slade is now OUT.

Opponent raised with A-K, Mateyboy called with A-T, Nick moved all-in with J-J and received two calls.

A-K-Q Flop pretty much finished him off.

Just not Nick's day.

Frederik Hostrup is quite the character. I remember him from the Paris WPT last year. He was whooping and hollering in the media room in support of his Danish friend Grundvig, who went on to win the whole damn kaboodle.

Anyhow, Frederik is here today, and mixing it up (both in terms of the gab and poker) at the table.

His latest confrontation was with a fellow Scandinavian, who I don't know the name of.

With an three diamonds board, Frederik checked, Scandieboy bet 2k, Frederik maded it 4.4k and Scandieboy re-raised another 11.7k, leaving 2k behind.

After about 30 seconds of thought, Frederik did that 'how much have you got left' whilst simultanously folding gag (hohoho), and conceded the pot.

As Scandieboy revealed a King, Frederik retrieved his mucked cards to show one too.

keep us informed about that story - who marks card and goes on even after the dealers recognize the markings over and over again?

This guy on the right should've probably bet this two hearts flop with his (I saw his cards, bit naughty) but he was looking to c/raise all-in, it was checked down all the way though in the end, and he missed and lost the pot.

Blinds are still 300/600 (75), but they're about to go up in just a tick. There are 72 of the initial 148 remaining and the average stack is 20,555.

Juha is the one that keeps noticing. At the moment, all they're doing is changing the decks, but I can detect frustration in the Fin. A fifth time and I'm sure the table will grind to a halt.
