Farid hasn't let that hand knock him out of his stride, next hand, he makes it 22k again and everyone passes, he shows
.
Incidentally, Lee Jones (who seems to have boundless enthusiasm wherever he is) has called this final, "Very old school," owing to the complete lack of cameras and TV table. Just a single rail around the final table, I'm not sure the players feel that cosy, but I think the atmosphere is better.
Back to the action, Farid limps again and Peter checks the big blind. The
gets checked, and then Peter bets 40k on the
turn which Farid calls, Peter then makes a 100k bet on the river, which Farid calls. Peter shows
and takes down the pot. Nice river bet.
Finally Farid and then Frederik both limp and Peter makes up in the small blind and Marius checks.
Flop:
Peter checks, Marius bets 20k, Farid passes, Frederik moves all-in and Peter and Marius quickly pass.
Chip counts:
Frederik Holstrup Pedersen -- 245k
Peter Jepsen -- 580k
Marius Torbergsen -- 135k
Andy O'Flaherty -- 210k
Farid Meraghni -- 820k
Katja Thater -- 170k
Patric Martesson -- 220k
John Conway -- 348k
