Ok, I know he's very bottom of the chip count list, but can I just point out the impressive grindage going on with my friend Andrea (ahhh ha ha!)? He was on about 1000 for most of day 1.

As womble is out leaving me with only 2 pics left I look forward to seeing simon and vicky going at it tomorrow evening when the real money is being played for. A sticky bubble heads up duel will be good to see.

Here's the seldom miserable Carlo (he's not being stuck by lightening, honest) being er... miserable, but with reason this time, because he's just sent a few chips over to Matthew Rattos-salles with Q-5 vs. Q-J on a Flop. Carlo bet 7k, Matthew moved in for 16k and Carlo just coudn't fold, although he still dwelled, naturally.

Liverpudlian Gary Shaw is OUT.

"Tell them I was ahead though," requested Shaw. "I won't tell you the hands, but I was ahead.

He soon cracked though, as expected, and went on to say, "I had 9-3 on a J-9-rag Flop. Betting on the flop and then the chip went in on the rag turn. He called with Q-T, but he had a flush draw as well with four hearts on board. I'm not sure I was favourite, but I was definitely ahead."

He didn't tell me what came on the River, but something tells me that it wasn't a blank - so either an Eight, Ten, Queen, King or any heart. So that's 19 outs I think. Gulp.

Ben Thomas is OUT. Didn't catch his hand, but I did spot Steve Craig stacking his chips with a pair of eights.
