Send my best to Richard Waters (Kingtut). He won his seat online and has done fantastic - I am really chuffed for you.

He's quite short stacked going in today but hopefully will get a double up early.

Thanks for all the support and good wishes - its surprising how much it still means (sniff...!)

Best of luck to all the Brits (and Irish!) still in the last 32, with a special mention for Steve Jelinek (what a fantastic payday this could be - go Steve) and Ram...baby needs new shoes!

Slightly sore ed, but I've made it. Bizarrely, not too many people in the media room at the moment, I wonder why that could be...

The journey from room to cardroom is always a short but interesting one because you see so many recognisable faces on the way. Most were hiding their shame from last night, but I couldn't help but notice Roland and Jeff Lisando playing cards, probably for money, and then Lee Nelson (what a gent!), not to mention little known Richard Waters, who was very confident in the lobby a few moments ago.

"I'm really happy with my table, it appears as though I'm with most of the shortstacks, which is big relief as I've had big stacked aggressive players to my right up 'til now. I'm freerolling at the moment."

Good luck to him! The people's favorite, surely?
