Can someone clear this up (Airline Security / Hand baggage question)

Off to Vegas on Friday absolutely no relevence to the question im about to ask but I'll add it in anyway.

Whilst I know that any liquids brought to the airport yourself cannot exceed 100ml and must be stored in a clear polly bag can you buy juice/Water at the duty free shops for consumption on board??? As the trolley service for drinks is usual awful.

Yes, once you are through security.

Yes, once you get past the security checks into the duty free area, anything you buy can be taken on board.  There are usually several places selling drinks (e.g WH Smiths, etc)

The only restriction regarding USA is if you aren't flying direct. If thats the case you'll need to consume the fluids before landing (Not too difficult!).

I am a bit worried though, you are going to vegas and your thoughts are turned to what drinks you can take on the plane! Be thinking about vegas you mug!
