The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

So I just copied it off successful-downloader Rolf.  Job done.  It's been a travel heavy day over here so I think we may be off to our hotel, wherever that is.  I've had my backpack under my seat, so to speak, for the duration of Day 1... we'll be here right from the start tomorrow so hope you'll find a way to take a peek.

Night night.

Was this tournament horribly structured, or did they expect a lot more runners?

Seems unusual to get the estimate so far off.

Overall the tournament was superb. They kept bringing around these tasters of food, slamon, fiillet steak... whatever you wanted really. Plus any free drinks you can imagine.

Compared to the Vic and Barcelona this tournament got a 9/10.... if they could alll get to this standard it would be great.

Structure was good. They even played level 9 twice (for two hours)

The scandies are here in force. At one point with just 5 tables left i was on a table with 7 other scandies...... they are taking over!
