After two years of playing poker a strange thing happenned tonight, I had to answer the door whilst playing an MTT, I was gone for over 10 mins and whilst I was gone the wife despite never showing an interest before had taken over.
Blinds were 10/20 but I found my stack had been depleted from 1500 to 600.  Not a problem though, I told the wife to play the rest of the game and i'll watch her.
She managed to last about twenty minutes longer whilst playing nearly every hand before getting knocked out.
She said she quite enjoyed it and asked for another go and some instruction, so I entered her in $1 STT on Stars and left her to it.

Anyway she is now on her fourth STT so my question is, how the f**k do I get her off my laptop and to bed so I can have a go myself.

my wife learning poker was the best thing that could have happened. it's a shared interest and she's pretty good as it turns out.

Bring her to BB4 - once she sees first hand what a few years of playing poker can turn her in to she'll soon change her mind Wink

It's  ok Desparate Housewifes came to my rescue.

Found it strange how after so long she just fancied a go tonight.

It wasn't really a problem as I could play on other sites on my PC upstairs.

She wouldn't go on play tables though, said she had to have something to play for...

My wife only cares when I win - otherwise I get the big L to the forehead - this is becoming a regular occurence on the Sunday Meltdown ... Have decided to give the Sunday Mill and warm up a go playing during the day as I will be in NZ this weekend - won't have tired excuses just jet lag. No more L's...

My 13 year old daughter has to do all that to earn her 20p pocket money.
I'm training her well, I will then sell her to the highest bidder on her 16th birthday.

The wifes started moaning recently that after working hard in an office job for 8 hours she is too tired for housework, she seems to think i've got it easy, if only she knew how many outdraws i've had to put up with recently......
