Chuffed to bits. This is not really a gloating post about my performance, but just highlights how pleased I was with my first ever RF.

Been getting a bit run down lately and was feeling a bit tired. Had a bit of food and perked up immensely. So much so, that at the VERY last minute I jumped in the car and headed for the casino.

Got into a 25 quid freezeout at the last minute. There were only 30 odd runners.

Was very happy with my play, but got sucked out on a few times. The bubble was on 8th and just before the final table I was sucked out on again, leaving me with an M of 2! I pushed and more than doubled up.

Onto the final table and had an M of 5ish. Got  first hand and instantly pushed from the button. Ended up tripling up. Soon after I had a couple more double ups and found myself as chip leader.

Long story short. I knocked every single final table player out. The other 8 players gone in an hour and 5 minutes. Now I was really happy with that, but realise the calibre of players was not the best (understatement?).

But what really capped the final table, was facing an all in by a short stack that I had covered by about 20/1. I looked down to see  . Raised them up, as I fancied them to myself. Cards turned over and flop comes rage  . Turns a rag and rivers a  . Short stack thinks his 2 pair is good, until pointed out that he's facing a ROYAL FLUSH! Beautiful.

Never had one before. Made my night :-)

always good to win a heads up battle or finish a tourney with a premium hand and no better than the royal.

and i thought my QQ was impressive the other night ,

i was amazed to find there was only 1 royal flush in the entire wsop main event.

8000 players , a weeks solid play , how many hands must have been played ?? and only 1 royal.

Even the first APAT event had a Royal!  WSOP is rigged!

Congrats jjandellis on your first one!  That reminds me, I think I'm about due for my 3rd one.
