For CC -

Hello Mum of Channing!  Neil tipped us off that a certain lurker might be asking about him - and here's a photo, along with a "You can tell her I said Hello!" and something about ironing which I didn't hear all of... Will be keeping an eye on him.

Flop = 2-7-T

Praz Bansi bets 500, Mad Turk calls.

Turn = T

Praz bets 800, Mad Turk calls.

River = 9

Praz bets 2.5k, Mad Turk makes it 6.5k, Praz calls.

Praz = 2-2

Mad Turk = 9-9

Nasty one the leave Praz down to the felt with just a couple of thosuand, but shoots Mad Turk up to 18k.

Rolad de Wolfe (8.5k) has made the Monte Carlo to Dublin journey, but isn't flying high just yet, although he did just take a small pot off Paul Kristofferson, betting 1.1k in a rainbow J-A-4-A-9 and taking the pot down. Bit of chatter ensued, but it was all good natured.

Dave looks so much like Wallace from Wallace & Grommit there that you're half expecting him to say, "Ooooh, I do love a nice bit of gorgonzola!"

I don't know if Ramzi Jelassi knows who his left hand side neighbour is - Shaf in the first level re-raised preflop out of the big blind after there was a raise to 150 called in two spots, getting rid of the opposition, including his much softer-spoker Swedish neighbour.  I wonder how much lairy-ness he'll be able to get away with before people start to wonder about the quality of his raising hands.

With the arrival of our first paper list (as we get into the first 20 min break) we can start on your requests!

Here are Brendan McHugh, I believe, next to 'doubleup' McGeachie (Brendan on 11,850) and Mazhar Nawab (21,500)

BA Kildalen is relieved.  He said he went down to 7k really fast, and was "ready to give up and go home to Norway, but then I won three pots in a row."  She managed to strike fear into her table before her elimination, and now they're euphorically playing more hands, it looks like.

Well, I do know that Alan Betsson, who finished 2nd that one year, is on 9,800 and is sharing a table with Maz Nawab (pictured below).

I'm back! The wireless lives again! While I was offline Jen and Snoopy seem to have posted photos of most of the players that I snapped, so instead here are some photos of my favourite dealer and her amazing hairdo...
