PMSL at the title!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad someones finally "unlocked the secrets" to texas holdem cos Doyle Brunson obviously hasn't had a clue what he's been doing for the past 50 years.

I'm not impressed, nothing radical here at all, a lot of what he's talking about has been covered over the years, he's just expressing it in a different way.

I also don't see how some of what he's talking about has got anything to do with winning at poker?

they can't start on that untill they've covered all the important stuff like poker and what foods could potentially in extreme circumstances give you the sniffles.

It's fairly tough reading but actually quite interesting. Would be good to compare your own stats to the combined stats.

He makes some assumptions that just cannot be upheld under scrutiny.

q is the probability that someone goes all in. He states that q^2 is the probability that two people go all in.
The probability that given that there has been a caller to the all in, there is 1/2 chance that the all in player will get knocked out.

These are two sweeping generalisations that he uses to simplify the formula into a nice form but totally oversimplify the situation.

Yeah i noticed that as well, i was more interested in tracking the progress of how the early CL's did.

I notice in the report that he talks about 'perfect data collapse'.

One can only assume he was playing on iPoker recently.
