WOW what a cracking listen / watch.

Started playing $1/$2 no limit. sat down with $150 and proceded to increase  to $1340 then things started to go a bit tits up got unlucky 4 or 5 times times with people hitting the river and went back down to about $850 still not bad though from a $150 bankroll.

Just saw a $24 sat on full tilt for their 750k tonight at 11, so thought why not 46 runners 2 get entry and 3rd won $34   yep you guessed it i came 2nd and am in the biggy tonight. Cant' wait, the CD's have helped me no end Cheers Dave.

doesn't work for me either.

What I REALLY want to know though, is when his Omaha strategy comes out..I'd be very interested in that.
Now this is the truth... If I really wrote a few chapters on my Omaha strategy... everyone would just laugh and completely disagree with it
e.g. I actually think 6 card Omaha is a more skilfull game than 4 card Omaha
Just try and find one other payer who agrees with that statement

actually Ive copied this to the 'ask a pro' thread

you know where you stand more with 6 card omaha Smiley

errr surely the exact opposite is true. That's what makes it more skill full, it's not just a case of assessing your chances of making the nuts, it's about your chances of making the nuts whilst having a redraw.

So if I follow this train of thought out, the most skillful PLO game I have ever played was the 20card PLO HU I played against some equally nutty guy in Blackpool 3 years ago?

lol you are getting there!

I will accept with reluctance all of your thanks for making sure the price to blondes was below £50...

THANKS !
I could not have stood the embarassment if the price was any higher

Ive been thinking about buying this but to be honest 50 bucks is a fair whack for me, then again if it will improve my game then it will pay for itself.

I play $5 - $25 stt/mtt and 25 - 50c cash and I am comfortable there, whenever I move up I tend to lose so move back down.

Will buying these CDs help someone at my level or is it aimed for higher stake players?

£50 is obviously a fair whack to a lot of people. I don't want to give you the hard sell, but....

All I will say is that IMO the CD's will help all beginner/intermediate players and interest experienced players too. They cover Dave's strategies for Cash, live and online MTTs and SNGs as well as touching on psychology and his poker histroy

The fourth cd covering the screen captures of dave playing online might help you too

Okay I will give it a go.

I am in a kind of rut at the moment where I am quite happy playing at the level I am and making a profit but lost the urge to step up and improve.

If I win a seat in WSOP I will owe DC a pint :-)
