A long time poster a great supporter of Blonde

very unhappy

no poker on general discussion, just crap gossip and dating services from sad lonely women. elsewhere you cannot make a point without being flamed or sarcastically abused. These days the moderators are not as effective as the original bunch. FAR MORE IS LET THROUGH. adverts everywhere, very commercial. Just out to make money out of me.

I am not interested in giving this place money. I want to use it as a community. I do not want to know about your crap cardroom all the time. I play on a serious site with great software POKERSTARS

I am going elsewhere, to further my poker eudcation

goodbye

The forum is what it is, but i do tend to agree some long time posters get away with acting like right "unhelpful so and so's" and it dont help with the karma of the place.

As DN would say I think "foyal rlushy" is having one of those days.

I'm sure as long time poster, great supporter of blonde, i'm sure your grievances and comments would be looked at with far more creedence had you posted under your normal alias.

As for the mods i feel they do a very good job (the other forum i read occasionally could learn an awful lot)

No poker on general discussion, isn't that because it is for general discussion threads rather than poker?  If you aren't interested in general discussion then ignore it and just look at the poker threads, doesn't seem too complicated?

I have no problem with someone criticising Blonde providing they make alternative suggestions. For example with regards to the commercial aspects of Blonde, suggest how it's costs will be covered. Without wanting to fill up Tikay's inbox, if you want to have a moan but don't want to post it under your real name then can't you just PM Tikay, rather than hiding behind a made up ID?

no poker on general discussion

thats cause the other boards are full of it the gd board is for everything else

elsewhere you cannot make a point without being flamed or sarcastically abused.

there is a fine line between over modding and under modding i am a butt of alot of the jokes PROBERLY
and so are the other mods we try and keep blonde civil and there is no out and out flaming if there is its removed as soon as possible

Quote
These days the moderators are not as effective as the original bunch. FAR MORE IS LET THROUGH
the site has grown in size unbeleivably in a short time the new mods are just as good as the old mods but there is alot more work to do infact in the good old days we would only have to remove stuff every now and again infact before there was any offlical mods the site was so small i think we only removed stuff a couple of times in total we are now removing numerous posts a day, there used to be only 1 board to watch now there are numerous and on busy days we can miss things which i why the report to moderator button is there now the mods are unpaid and have real lifes to live and cant its impossible to expect someone to be on here 24/7 but most hours of the day someone is about

adverts everywhere, very commercial. Just out to make money out of me.

do you know how much it costs to run a site like blonde apart from the bandwidth and servers and expenses like flights and hotels for the updates the webmaster and the writers i think it would be a drain on any pocket unless a form of income was available to cover some of the costs. i am happy to put up with a few adverts so that i can have a comunity

So you are leaving. Announcing it under a user name with 1 post makes it look like you aren't. Typical forum behaviour.

Your mother must be so proud.

Scored out as the user in question has left and i wasted about 30 secs.

I will respond to the OP asap, my wifi-equipped train has now almost arived in Edinburgh.

I will reply under my regular blonde alias.

In the interim, I'd appreciate it if Members did not openly speculate as to the true identity of the OP. Nobody has correctly guessed so far, & only harm can emenate from such speculation.

Thanks.
