I love this bit.

I am not interested in giving this place money. I want to use it as a community.

just to be serious for a moment

I am sorry you feel aggrieved the way things are going in the world of blonde

my comments are as follows

yes, the general discussion board does go through spells which are unpopular with some. However its a free forum. People post what they like as long as it is flame free etc. If it goes through a prolonged spell of inane stuff then you will usually find a few of us steer it back on course, balance-wise. and then it goes off one one again!

as for non-poker..well its General discussion..we have over 10 boards, some are entirely devoted to poker

Commercialism...slightly more so yes. Its the real world. We cannot expect founders, shareholders etc to continually dip into their pockets to fund expensive updates, site improvements, wages etc

so we need income from a card-room, from sponsorship and modest advertising. Without it, there would not be a site or a for

a poor card-room?..well its not Stars certainly but it is improving and you get great customer service here as well as a lot of great friendly comps

I am sorry you did not post under your original blonde alias. You would have nothing to fear if you did so as I respect the feedback

if you would like to contact me privately pls do so by pm or to r.prew@blondepoker.com

 thanks

I understand not wanting to post it under a genuine name, lots of loyal members tend to rip to shreds posts like this, and it can get personal on either side before long.

Much easier for the mods that you've kept your identity secret, saves a job.

Just as well, as they're not what they used to be.

well, the thing is...most of them are. I blame the newbie mods for the slip in standards though. Only possible explanation
