Wife's birthday next week, getting her a Satnav as thats what she wants. However would like to buy her a nice surprise pressie as she has sent me to Vegas and for some reason bought me a new mobile phone last week.

The point is i'm hopeless at getting presents for the fairer sex and really need some help in getting an unusual surprise pressie.

Also don't want to waste my poker time walking around the shops.  Grin

Romantic dinner and west end show.

Day of pampering at a spa.

Small item of personalised jewelry.

MacDonald's, a movie, and your undivided attention.

Breakfast in bed. (Include the newspapers and a rose)

well depends how much you got to spend. a pampering sessions never goes wrong. book her a day in a spa with a massage and a facial. the alternative is a lovely piece of jewelry. its something she can keep forever and remember the good old days Smiley also an heirloom to be passed to children if you have any?? failing that just tell her to get her feet up, run her a bath and you do everything for her. you can be her slave for the day.........

good luck and im sure she will love whatever you get her

mad:)

A nice new Hoover.

Obviously got her all the practical stuff like Hoover's, drills, workbenches for previous birthdays.
Also got her a pair of ladders for one birthday when she was seven months pregnant, thougt she might be able to clean the second storey windows whilst she was off on maternity leave.
Hence might get her something more romantic this time.

Romantic dinner and west end show.  Nice idea however we have no free weekends around her birthday and she can't get time off in the week.

Day of pampering at a spa.    Did this a few years ago and she wasn't overly impressed, she enjoys this if theirs a load of her mates with her so they can have a gossip.

Small item of personalised jewelry.  Brought her a bracelet back from Vegas. Suspect this will be the only time i'll come back from Vegas with a bracelet. Also got her a necklace at christmas.

MacDonald's, a movie, and your undivided attention.   Don't want to supersize her, she's large enough already.  Grin

Breakfast in bed. (Include the newspapers and a rose)   Do this every weekend minus the rose. Bought her 12 roses Valentines.

Ideally want something unusual ..

Not really the weather for the English Rivierra at the moment.

THought about booking a trip for a few months time but we're getting two puppies on the way back from BB4 and the missus won't want to leave them for a while.

Getting her a sat nav, is there any way to pre-program it?

You get her in the car to try it out, and it directs her to somewhere where you have a romantic surprise prepared. A pre-ant season picnic, a clothes shop, travel agent or some such nonsense.
