At the weekend I was taught "RangeRover"..Hold Em until after the betting on the flop, at which point all remaining in the pot must expose one card, at which point the hand continues with deal of turn/betting and river/betting

Interesting strategy in this, bluffing opportunities abound. Not that I have bluffed since September 4th 2004. Stuck in the memory the last time I tried.

Flushy invented Western Roll, and I need reminding on the rules for that please sir

with bb4 upcoming, what other weird and wacky poker variants should we be playing late on that Saturday evening?

5 card sidecar

all players dealt 5 downcards

round of betting all remaining players discard 1 card

flop is dealt   round of betting   all remaining players discard 1 more card

turn is dealt round of betting  discard 1 more card

all remaining players have 2 cards left   normal holdem rules kick in

I like the AdamM sit n go.

Short stack is the big blind, and has to show the table one of their holecards. (or something like that)

Western Roll is class, with tokens of sorts. Pokerchips, pound coins/notes or whatevah.
With the pen and paper, not so much.

never did I respect you so much as that day when you managed to keep the totals in the wallsall roll marathon session, after about 20 pints.

Indian Poker is always funny!

Is that the one where you have to climb up a rope before exposing one card ?

to give it it's correct name 'village poker'.  Short stack deals as well.  Top game.
