I'm playing a £5 freezout (home game) next week and am looking for someone to back me. My results are pretty awful, but all the money I have lost is not down to me, only blind luck. I only want 10% of myself, as lets be fair, 10% of nothing isn't a lot.

Anyone interested pm me Smiley

Lots of people laughed at Raymer when he asked for backing. As he said to them he wasn't aiming the request at people who didn't know him, it was more an easy way of letting his friends know and decide if they wanted to or not without having to ask them all individually.

As an aside I think 2+2 has gone downhill since they let a load of posters become mods, people have been banned for saying things in completely unconnected chatrooms, some mods have seemed to become power crazed and other people start polls about whether they should be sacked or not. Funniest was when one hugely respected poster got so annoyed with a mod that he threatened to travel to Las Vegas to kick the crap out of him.

Although amusing I do hope that it doesn't happen here. There's a very nice atmosphere here ATM.

I disagree- there was a very nice atmosphere up until the last couple of weeks. Now it is definatley overcast with storms looming  Wink I think the moderators are doing a good job and locking the thread earlier was correct definately-we do not want anymore slanging matches on blonde, I have become involved in a couple lately much to my shame  Embarrassed
