Excellent thieving action from Mick Fletcher. On an  Two Clubs two hearts board, he bets out and is called by Steve Fox on the button. The river comes  and Fletcher bets 4000. Steve Fox dwells for an immoderately long time before folding - he's now a very very short stack with about 3k. Fletcher shows KT...

Roberto Romanello is OUT, no details, but he was pretty short post dinner.

Mike Lacey, much to Flushy's chagrin, is up to 24k. He had A-Q against K-Q and 9-8 on a J-T-2-K-x board and then had Tens against Q-J, his opponent rivered a flush as Mike rivered the full house.

Chris Bruce has just won a couple of big pots.

First he had Ah two hearts, bet 1k on a board, and got two callers including Roberto Romanello, he checked the turn, Romanello pushed for 4k, the other player smooth-called and so did he. On a blank river, he then got the other player to pay him off another 4k.

A couple of hands later he called a small raise to 750, as did the button and a previous limper. Everyone checked to him on the board and he bet 1k, and was called by all other 3 players. They all checked the turn, before the original raiser bet 1500 on the river. Chris made it 3.5k, the other players folded and the initial raiser called and Chris showed for the rivered straight. The other player, showed , really should've bet the flop and certainly the turn.

On a  board, Andrew Harrison goes all in. After a great deal of probably unnecessary huffing and puffing, Nick Hicks calls. Andrew turns over kings, Nick has aces. River  , and Andrew now has only about 3k.

More Chris Bruce action, this time the losing kind - the guy in the red hoodie on Floppy's post a few back, the one who looks a bit like Bluto from Popeye (I think he may be Paul Barnes, but I shall continue to call him Bluto just in case), just moved all in preflop with  , and got himself called by Chris' AQo.  on the flop and Bluto doubles up, but he's still short with about 6k.

can i have an up date on tuan le and cuong trinh plsssss

Tuan Le -- 25k "I had 35k but lost a pot when I had the nuts on the turn but got rivered"
Coung Trinh -- 7,750
Flushy -- 20k "Barry Neville is sitting next to me with 40k, so in reality I actually have 60k."
Paul Parker -- 16k "Enough for Saturday Paul?" I venture. "Enough for Sunday." He replied.

Andrew O'Flaherty the EPT Warsaw finalist is OUT, he ran trip fours into a rivered straight.

Andrew Harrison doubled up his short stack with against Marc Convey's almost as short .

Board: three clubs

George Macdonald raises to 900 preflop and is called by Gary Chatterton, a Blackpool gent in a terrifying Hawaiian shirt. I know global warming is really kicking in now, but surely the weather in Blackpool can't yet justify that...

Anyway, they see a flop of  , which must be pretty sunny as far as Gary is concerned as he bets 2000. Macdonald calls.

Turn -  . Gary bets 4000, Macdonald calls.

River -  three diamonds. They both check, and Gary mucks when Macdonald shows  . Too hot for him...

Early chip leader Jack Owen is OUT he had on a J-7-8-2-T board but his opponent was holding K-J.

Jules Harwith has doubled up to 28k

He check/raised all-in on the turn of a board against Tuan Le with and found himself up against . The river was a blank three diamonds and Jules allowed himself a little fist/pump slam on the table.

Saw some great testosterone being thrown around on Table 10 by Hamid Togyhan. On a flop of  , Hamid bets minimum and Charlie Denton raises to 1800; Hamid calls. Turn -  - Hamid bets and Charlie calls. The turn comes  and Hamid bets again; Charlie instacalls and Hamid instamuck/folds without waiting to see Charlie's AJ.

Then on a  flop, there is a massive raising war between Hamid and George Macdonald, culminating in Hamid going all in and George eventually folding.

Jeff Kimber is OUT. Matt Tyler raised, Matey called and Jeff called from the big blind

Shortish, Jeff, check/raised all-in with , after Matt had checked and Matey bet on a board but found Matey sitting with and didn't improve.

Mel Judah doubled up, super short, pushed with , the guy next to him called with . Mel stands up.

Board:

.

Mel sits down.

I have just now witnessed the demise of Marrco Jenkins, by way of a triple-up for Ken Clark.

Ken Clark went all in a bit short and was called by both Marrco and Victor Kaye.

Checked-down board

Ken Clark -

Marrco Jenkins -

Victor Kaye -

...And AK wins it, and Marrco is left with only 300 chips - 250 after the ante. All in under the gun next hand, he has 3 callers, who check it down.

George Macdonald -

Victor Kaye -

Charlie Denton -

Marrco Jenkins -

3-4 takes it, and Jenkins is OUT.

Nick Hicks just lost a chunk.

He raised to 1100 (200/400/50) from UTG and was called in two places.

Flop:

Nick bets 1600, one player calls, the other folds.

Turn:

Both check.

River:

Now Nick bets 4500, at which point I'm sure Nick has a big hand and the other player dwells for a bit before eventually calling with - which is good. Intrigued as to what Nick had there...
