any update on stu rutter please?
cheers very much
The Psychic Updater rides again! Nick Slade is most likely on around 50k now after doubling up off of Stuart Rutter. Rutter raises preflop to 7.5k and Slade moves in for another 19k on top. Rutter thinks about it before decisively slamming the 19k over the line and announcing "I'm behind". He was in fact behind, holding
against Nick's

Day 1 chip leader Mick McCloskey is
OUT
, losing his entire massive stack in two fairly unfortunate hands. I found him with a cigarette by the slots and he told me his sad story.
The first Hand Of Disaster went like this. The button raised to 10k - he had about 45k total. Mick found himself holding A9, and raised the button all-in - call. The button was holding A5, but rivered a 7-high straight. Oh, the pain. The horrible horrible pain.
Some hands later, Dave Colclough raised Mick's big blind. Apparently he'd been doing that a lot with any kind of filth, and so, finding AJ, Mick moved in. Which in retrospect was a very bad move, as Dave was that time holding AK. No sick outdraw, and Mick was gone.

Mick Fletcher just took out a player with Ace Jack against King Ten, hitting two pair. He has 149k, if he gets much more he'll be unplayable.
Rumit just chopped a pot with
against
(2nd picture), although Rumit had a flush draw on the turn, I only mention this so I can use the

Finally, Barry Neville has knocked out Stuart Rutter with Kings against Aces. King on the flop. Neville over 200k.

To make matters worse, Stuart didn't have a buffet ticket and got kicked out of the line.

If Barry Neville promises to stop singing at the table, I'd pick him too......
It's got worse, he's singing Take That. A hand from his table -
John McNair bets 20k on a
flop. Says Barry: "I might go all in."
Says John: "I don't mind."
Says Barry: "You'd call me if I did?"
Says John: "I can't tell you that."
Barry sits back in his seat, his head thrown back and his eyes closed, completely immersed in the soothing boy band sounds in his earphones. Eventually he folds. John shows
. Barry says he had A9, so lucky escape. It Only Takes A Minute to make that bad call, and John might have been Back For Good if Barry had doubled him up there.

Wayne Blodwell doubles up with
against T Anderson's
Board:
T Anderson went out shortly afterwards with J-T sooted against Greek Jack's Fives.
Mick Fletcher has added another big chunk to his stack, he 3-bet a
board but still found Mojid Khan pushing with
. Mick called with
and the
river gave him the better two pair.
Chris 'Soxy' Sokrati is OUT. Nick Slade pushed from late position, Chris called for all his chips with
and found himself ahead of Nick's
.
Board: (Thanks to Dena, who is always aware when i'm writing the suits down and holds onto the cards for me, an updater's dream
)

Cuong's relatively short but fighting. Saw him nick the blinds with a 7k raise utg. Then next hand Katherine Hartree raised Cuong's big blind by 9k utg, only for Cuong to move in with his 55k total. Eventually Katherine folds. He's chewing on a toothpick and looking cool.

Flushy has doubled up with Ace King against DC's King Queen. On 90k now. He also asked if S007R can text or phone him.

I think Neil Downing tripled up with 99 on a ten-high board, but he still looked pretty short to me.

Flushy lost a 100k pot with Ace Jack to Willie Tann's Sevens. He then raised in early position, was re-raised virtually all-in by Eddie London and pushed.
