Alan Vinnicombe is OUT, he made a push for 50k from the small blind with T-8, slight problem was that El Blondie had picked up Aces in the big blind knocking the South Westerner to the rail.

Richard Ashby -- 150k
Alan Armitage -- 165k
Rumit -- 140k
Barry Neville -- 400k+

Two tables remain.

Not a great deal to report right now, there's an awful lot of blind-nicking and cautious folding going on. Nevertheless, something must happen soon - blinds are up to 5000/10,000/800 and there are a few very short stacks, most notably Barry Carter, who folds every time Dave Colclough raises his big blind and nicks the blinds every time he's on the button. Have some photos though...

Barry Carter is OUT v Greek Jack's  preflop.

Flop -  three diamonds

He'd been very short for a while - "I only need to double up 16 times and I'm back in the game," he said while they were reseating.

Unfortunate, but he's done very well, given how demoralised he was in the first 2 levels.  thumbs up

Barry Carter is 'Dave Shoelace' on blonde and a fellow updater, so well done to him. Smiley

Ryan Fronda pushed his short stack in with Q-9 and found Cuoung Trinh giving him a spin with 8-9, nothing hit for either and the Luton Xmas Cracker winner survives.

Rumit has doubled up Steve Laker with against . Queen came on the flop, though Rumit had the nut-flush draw on the turn but the river was a blank.

Gary Chatterton is OUT in 16th place winning £2000 in probably punnable Gary v Barry scenario.

Barry Neville raised to 37k, Gary went all in; call.

Gary -

Barry -

Board -  two spades

Farewell, that Hawaiian shirt. Plenty of opportunities left to lose it in the casino.

Short break now then 6k/12k/1k will be the blinds and antes.

Barry Neville is chip leader with about 700k. Between him and Dave, they have almost 50% of the chips in play.

Chris Bruce just doubled up with against Dave's Ace King. Ace and two hearts on the flop and the flush on the river.

Barry just had a big all-in too, with against Cuong Trinh's . But no flushes were even hinted at.

Nick Slade - 116,000
Gavin Priestley - 95,500
Chris Bruce - 98,000
Big Alan Armitage - 133,500

With the huge blinds and the gaping chasmic chip imbalances, it's not impossible that they'll play down to final table tonight.

Cuong Trinh is OUT, he had Ace King against Richard Ashby's Kings and failed to improve.

Dave C raises to around 35k preflop, Gavin Priestley reraises for another 40 or 50k.

Dave -

Gavin -

Board -

Gavin Priestley is OUT in 14th place, and Dave goes from strength to proverbial strength. "I am on fire," he deadpanned.

Saw Richard Ashby pass pocket queens face up to a massive reraise form Barry Neville. Barry showed pocket tens. Kind of hand gives you indigestion just thinking about it.

Dave, fellow DTD player Richard Ashby and Barry Neville are all uberstacked compared to the remaining 7 players. Why 7? Barry just called the push of very short stacked Paul Leckey with T-3 against Fours.

Board: Q-J-9-8-x leaving us with 10 remaining.
