For the gentlemen, there were some very pretty young ladies in blue sashes at the bar before - I think they may be part of the Blue Square prize package - but we didn't get any photos because Floppy was under the impression that we were here to get pictures of the players. Fool.

Tssskk Didn't Snoop teach you anything, Floppy? shame on you Sir...for shame!!

Best of luck to the mighty DC.

Been given more wrong information, sigh. The blinds have actually been rolled back to 6k/12k with a 1k ante.

No live feed yet, so Dana and I are taking it turns squeezing into the little tv area.

Barry raises to 26k, Nick Slade calls in the big blind.

Flop:

Nick checks, Barry bets 45k, Nick c/raises to 100k. Barry folds.

Dave raises to 26k, and takes the blinds.

Barry raises to 27k, Dave calls, Richard re-raises to 100k and everyone folds.

We've lost one!

Victor Kaye pushes preflop; Tom Sambrook moves all in too.

Victor -

Tom -

Board -  three diamonds

So Victor Kaye is OUT in 9th place, winning £5,700.

Ryan Fronda has been doing some sterling blind-nicking work too - he's up to over 100k now, although with blinds 6k/12k/1k he's still not comfortable.

Barry raises to 34k from the button when it folds around to him; Ricahrd Ashby calls.

Flop -  - check, check.

Turn -  three clubs - check, check.

River -

They both check, and Barry turns over  ; Ashby mucks. Barry is not allowed his ipod today, and it remains to be seen how he will be affected by this...

Apparently we now have a live feed. Sort of. It's being silently broadcast on the smallest tv screen I've ever seen, the kind that was probably state-of-the-art in tikay's day. Nevertheless they say it's going to be fully operational soon...

Dave Colclough has found his aggression, stealing two hands preflop and pushing Barry Neville off another one on the flop with a 40k bet.

A few hands from before.

Dave raises to 40k, taking Ryan's BB.

Dave raises to 40k, taking Barry's blind, though Barry dwelt for a bit.

Barry calls in the small blind, Dave checks. Flop: . Barry checks, Dave bets 20k and Barry passes.

Dave calls in the small blind. Richard raises to 35k and Dave passes.

Nick raises from UTG+1 to 35k and takes the blind.

Tom Sambrook moves in preflop. "I love no limit," he says. No takers though, and he takes the considerable blinds and antes.

Chris Bruce, Ryan Fronda, Barry Neville and Richard Ashby see a flop.

 two spades three clubs

Chris checks, Ryan checks, Barry checks, Richard attempts to steal with 35k, only for Chris to move in. They all pass. Quite a big pot, that.
