during the blonde bash as normal people were scared to play me HU as after all i beat tikay 5-0

so i gave them an edge and i played with only 1 card via the 2 cards ok even i aint that good and over the weekend i won 3 and lost 5

but this lead to the debate on what are the actuall odds on 2 players of same abilty playing HU with 1 guy getting 1 card the other dealt 2

with 1 card there are times you cant win the pot before a flop is dealt apart from a straight flush and your best hope is a split pot

Ie  dealt other guy is dealt and a higher diamond

so come on you you math geniuses can you work out the odds on winning with 1 card

also what would be the best stragey to play in this game with 1 card or 2

on a side note the players who lost where le knave and miami vic witht he other remaining nameless due to it being straight turn over rather than played with chips

also 4kingnuts deserve a mention after this play

i am dealt   flop comes three clubs
i bet 200 and say (speach play allowed) i got a queen he calls
turn is i again bet 200 telling him he can only call my bet with a queen as i have a queen he calls
river is the i check and he checks turning over and unbeatable Q7 saying later he forgot his kicker was good he only checked as he thought his kicker was weak

top play top game and if any online site wants to buy the rights to this game let me know i am open to offers over 50p

I have given this great thought during today and have come up with the following definitive answer

Who cares

only way to find out for sure is to run it. If the Rookie moves to Nottingham when DTD opens me and him will try it out for you.
(if he gets some practice in)

It's roughly 36.3%

got to be worse odds than that

maybe correct if it was all in ever hand

but not with a deep stack

I ran a model for approx 48 hours solid and based on:

- all in every hand preflop (therfore stack size irrelevant)

The player holding a single card wins 17.21% of the time

I cun run the model for longer but that is c38k hands

P.S - all of the above is bollocks but sounds beleivable
