Tony Cascarino is down to 4.7k.

Flop =

Tony checked, Jean bet 2k, Tony made it 7k, Jean pushed for another 5k

Jean Noel Thorel =

Tony Cascarino =

Turn =

River =

I'm no expert, but I'm personally not too keen on the way Tony played this one, because once he raises to 7k, it's going to cost Tony that extra 5k more if Jean wants to play, and I would be wanting to put that much in on a draw. Perhaps a small check-raise or maybe betting out would have been better, or even smooth calling the Flop.

What's the best play here?...

Don't think he did too much wrong. can u call his check raise? i can't.

You're not French enough... Roll Eyes

I'd prefer a weak lead 3-bet all-in.

Either way, it's just another example of how the French attack some of these flops.

Getting 14k in with bottom pair, no draws.

Pretty impressive huh?

I suppose there's no point in playing the big draws fast if they're not folding anway.

Bizarrely, though I think Tony was probably favourite when the chips went in, although I doubt he knew that.

16 outs is it?

17 I think. 3 Kings, 3 Queens, 9 Spades and the Two Tens?

He probably thinks he has only 12 though. But if someone is that bonkers, surely he can wait for a better spot? Unless, I guess the rest of his table is quite tough? If he decided from seeing that flop that he was going to push, he should've manipulated the betting so that he was going to be the one shoving, not calling.

Jonas Molander is still struggling I'm afraid, just 5,300.

Apparently, the biggest pots he lost were a flush against a bigger flush and a flopped straight to a flush, the board also pairing on the River.

"On the last one, I should have checked the River when he checked into me, but I thought he'd bet the full house and bet the flush on an earlier street."

Dave Colclough's 21k may look like he's barely played a hand of late but he has moved a little, losing 5k and then winning 5k in quick succession.

Whilst the second one saw him add to his stack with a flopped set of Deuces, the second one was far from pretty...

"I've got Mr Wilson to blame for losing 5k, got involved with the Wilson, well, Half Wilson, 7-4 of hearts. I called a 200 pre-flop raise but someone re-raised behind me and I ended up paying 700 with this rubbish. Anyhow, the flopp came Q-Q-5 with two hearts, a 7 on the River and I ended up chucking away 5k."

With just 2.8k in chips, a dejected Tony Cascarino looks up to the heavens for help (okay, he's watching the footie on the plasma screen).
