Runasson Runar was all-in for 7,500 and the decision was down to the other chappy,
Vikash Dhorasso
, who didn't look too confident at all.
I guess that's what the former Lyon and Milan player is doing these days after getting sacked from PSG!!
Is it actually him?

Paul Gourlay looked a bit dejected so I asked if he'd taken a hit (I don't shy away, kick em while they're down), but he replied with "Oh no, I'm on 19,950."
That's a hit, surely? Well, sort of...
Anyhow, I found out that he was a little mopey because he'd been dealt the American Airlines early doors but only managed to get 250 off neighbour Peter Gould.
No exits as of yet...

Farouk Bensalem has taken a slight dip down to 17k after his Kings were out-flopped by Christophe Cabras's A-5 on a 5-7-5-J-3 board. Farouk got away pretty cheaply though, simply flat-calling a bet on the River with his Cowboys.

Reasonably big pot attracts the journalists (of whom there are just a handful, for a change) like big note-taking moths:
On the turn V. Troyanovskiy dwells after being check-raised to 3,100 by Nikolas Liakos (pictured, the one with cards in front of him) with the board standing

Sry for the delay, the wifi disconnected for 15 minutes or so.
Fortunately, it coincided with the 15 minute break in the comp, so we didn't miss too much action.

1) Ram Vaswani in a shirt coloured like many toothpastes, with neighbour Remi Marrale.
2) Left to right: David Redlin, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Freddy Deeb

An odd trait of the French players here at the Aviation Club is that they have a tendency to overbet the pot, the lastest example being Antoine Chuzeville (below) moving all-in for 17k on a board of
with just 7k in the pot. Of course, Christophe Cabras folded, but it's an intriguing characteristic.
Any one know why the French in particular seem to shovel it all-in at any possible opportunity?

Hi there - cheers, and no idea where Cool and Colclough are today. It's still early though - they may well yet put in an appearance. Snoopy has already had a grapefruit juice, let's start him off slowly before getting into the elaborate cocktails...

Speaking of which, I omitted this rather wonderfully gormless picture of young Snoopy in Vegas, drinking a strawberry julius. Just one of many pink drinks he consumed on the trip...

Down to 69, which means we've lost our first player of the day, and that unfortunate man is...
Stephane Krausz
The opponent sending him to an early bath appears to be Vikash Dhorasso, as he now has just under 35k in front of him.

During these early stages and whilst we're waiting for the action to pick up (90 minute levels don't forget), I like to take the opportunity to introduce you to several of the more unfamiliar players, in particular this chap, Didier Pitchot (13,275 in chips), who I'm merely posting just because he looks like Mario from the Nintendo game.
