I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to mis-attribute this quote to Voltaire.

You need to convert the flac files to mp3's, it's another music format.
I use a program called all to mp3

avoiding converting to mp3 or that specific program?
Seems a bit silly converting flac to mp3 unless you really have to (iPods not support it?)

Aren't flac files about 30mb for a song though? Mp3's take up less space.

flac is lossless though, i.e. far better audio quality than mp3 which uses lossy compression.

Looks nice
Can you upload from Songbird to an iPod do you know? I could look but I'm being lazy.
I've gone off iTunes after I couldn't get the latest version installed

I think there is a plugin to upload to an ipod. I'm sure it's a planned feature too.

How can anybody tell the difference between a decent quality recorded mp3 and a flac file??? Especially if you are using something like an ipod.
