ay up kev, i just read this thread from start to finish and im feeling inspired!  as you could prob guess from all my posts about food i do love some good scran!  I am going to try to cut down/start swimming (when i was a boy i used to train with 'leeds sharks'...gave it up after a couple of months early starts!).  The change is unreal in such a short time period and i hope to emulate your success!  Thanks for setting such a good example!

wow, you should write a diet book, probably make a fortune.
can you give us some idea as to how you have done it?

Basically I have just cut out all the crap that i used to eat, no chocolate, no chips, no pies, and replaced warburtons toastie for nimble wholemeal.  There is no secret to it honestly, just eat less and more healthily.

Excellent going Kev, how many lb's have you lost so far then?

No Idea mate, never weighed myself at the start for precisely the reasons you stated... its so easy to lose the motivation if you have a week or 2 with no loss, so i decided to cut that pressure out and just do it my way and judge the weight loss by the looseness of my trousers

I want to lose another 4 inches off the gut and hopefully the gym wil help with toning up the bingo wings and the flabby belly.

Today is a massive milestone reached for me personally.

I have had to buy new jeans .... i have now done 8 inches off the waist.

I am now the smallest trouser size i have been for 20 years !!!!

What Kev proves, oh so brilliantly, is that if you are a fatty fatty fat fat, you can by eating less and eating better food, lose the exes weight.

This has been a fabulous achievement by the boy, so if you are like he was.

pull yourself together, make the EFFORT.................................and get it done.

It's a terrible comparison,but as they said, there were no overweight people in concentration camps.
