Despite the best efforts of the TD to make 37 divisible by 9 (involving breaking a table, then re-forming it - "I'll be here all week," says Mike...) they've only just broken the fifth table after:

Andy Miles is eliminated, moving in on an two spades board with but finding giving him a spin.  The turn and river:

and

Jeff Rogers is eliminated (in two stages):  Stage one was the most damaging, as his had two pair with all five board cards out: , but so did chip monster Dave Smith with his
Stage two saw him pushing in preflop from the small blind next hand over the top of a button raise to 12k.  Big blind Dave Smith considered for a while, confirmed that this was an underraise (Jeff had just 17k left) and called, as did the button.
They checked down the whole lot:  Two Clubs - Jeff Rogers showed the genuine , but after a brief pause Dave revealed , enough to win that pot of nearly 60k and take out the pink shirted player (pictured after it all started to go wrong with that two pair hand)...

Ladbrokes Poker Million winner Raj Modha doubles through Darren Ground.

Raj:

Darren:

Board:

Karim Louis is OUT, his got no help on the two hearts board against Jaine Vasquez-Ponte's .

Robert Romanello lost a chunk to Richard Ashby (shown below):

They both checked a flop, before Roberto check/called an 11.8k bet on the turn and then a 16k bet on the river only to have the DTD player show him . Roberto mucked, what I'm guessing was most likely an Ace.

DC seems to be quietly catching up with some of the bigger stacks.

Suprised my 3 picks are still going strong, I need to start betting on this poker lark some tasty odds about and I seem to pick winners.

Is Terry Burke still in ?

Yes, as of the first half of this level (2k/4k ante 300).  Short stacked though, so will check he hasn't fallen in the time it takes to commute up to the press room and back...

good to see that 6 of the bigger stacks have already finalled and we still got a couple of winners in there together with a few more who have finished in the top 3. Guess it really is a game of skill

Yes - I picked Dave this morning too - he's now sharing a table with Richard Ashby (who's made quite a comeback today, now with nearly double El Blondie's stack) - both wearing the Dusk Til Dawn stripe (pictured below).  Doesn't Dave look like he's just daring Richard (sitting opposite) to bring it on?

I must say guys, Flops and Jen are doing absolutely bugger all. the last time i saw them they were both getting totally lashed up in the bar. I asked floppy why he wasnt working and he responded "cant be arsed anymore, get me another beer mate". So lazy.

Sounds like someone is still hungover from leaving early and going clubbing last night... Roll Eyes

Ian Cox is OUT. Ace King against Threes. "I wanted the call, nevermind."

Stuart Rutter is OUT in 30th place. He re-raised Barney Boatman with Aces leaving himself with only 22k behind. Barney called and the flop came an unpleasant 9-8-7. "I was praying Barney would bet because then I'm most likely ahead..." Sadly Barney was holding Sevens (again!) to knock him out.
