ok the missus came up with a cracker there and wont let it go
So I thought I'd ask some intelligent people....but the blonde forum will have to do for now....lol
She has an dentist appointment 2morro and has told to be there by the receptionist ' at the back of eleven'
now to me this means around 10.50 to 10.55
but she argues differently
she is quoting 11.45 to 12.00
thoughts sought please to clear up this domestic dispute
it could get nasty

No idea.. Why didn't she just ask what time is that to the dentist?! Or why not ring the dentist and find out! lol

"back of eleven" in good old west of scotland slang means "just after eleven" , so probly about 11.05 - 11.10.

Agreed, but extremely unproffessional appointment system.
