I am trying to find a company which is willing to transport for me a small motorcycle. It is for an art fair that will take place on the 8th of July. I have made almost 20 phone calls today and I feel like the only way is for me to drag it on my back.
Do you know of companies that do this kind of stuff?
The motorcycle is in Poland the art fair in London. This is really a tricycle tractor, hand made little beauty.
Any help will be apprieciated

I just asked two co-workers that lived in Poland for a few years (one is married to a polish lady) and he informs me its very expansive and if possible cheaper to hire a van and go get it yourself. I know thats not the answer you wanted

Would it not be easier to try Polish companies?
The proposition sounds far less hassle (take something from a local destination and export it) compared to the same thing from a UK company point of view (bring something back from Poland, a country you are no doubt unfamiliar with).
Failing that, wouldn't FedEx or UPS or similar be able to do this, provided you could box it up in a crate or similar to make it transportable? It'd probably cost the earth though.

I used to use Cadogan Tate Ltd, they are based in London (Ealing I think), they're specialist art movers, although I used to use them to send from London out, not sure if they do Poland into London, also can be expensive.

If you want a UK company and they haven't already said no, maybe try http://www.excess-baggage.com/removals_services.php?removals=PolandI've used them before, though from the UK. Or this place claims to be able to get you quotes from other companies, including some Polish: http://www.intlmovers.com/vervolg2.asp?inittype=removal&country=170Ideally you probably want to get a local (Polish) company to do it, as it's likely to be much cheaper, and probably easier in the end. If all else fails, maybe try posting a question on Polish expat forums, such as listed here: http://www.transitionsabroad.com/listings/living/living_abroad/living_in_poland.shtmlThere should be someone already out there who knows what companies to use. If you're still struggling, maybe try phoning the commercial department of the Polish embassy here. It's probably not what they're really there for, but you might find someone who can help. Or even the British embassy in Warsaw.

Apparently it would cost about £300 to get it shipped over via road (3-4 days) with TNT.
If that helps.

We 're thinking of using this Polish Company to transport a dog and owner back to Poland. They drive to and from Poland each week....and do parcels as well so they might be able to help. http://www.interceptorexpress.co.uk/ Good Luck !
