Is it just me or does that seem like a bad competition to have in their schedule? If a tourni is going to have last longer points surely a 'normal' format would be better?

Agreed Rooky, I don't like the idea of these either as they aren't really competing against each other. Saying that the schedule includes a varied selection of tournys. I suppose the idea is to find the best all round player, whether it be heads up, multi or singles.

Ours isn't to reason why eh?

I would have thought, from a sinicle poin tof view, they would want the player would could produce the best performance, and therefore create the most publicity, in the monte carlo event, which will be a 'normal' comp.....

Come on Mr End, you must of heard what a world class lurker I am? I always watch as many tables as I can when i'm playing as it seems to help further down the line when tables break. You then have a bit of an idea what the players are like.

Of course that's what i'll say if say if James asks anyhow lol ;)and who is Mrs Flish???
