ok, its just a bad beat story i hear you cry - but can someone please explain how he calls on the flop?

sometimes people play bad in tournaments where the buyin is equivalent to a packet of cigarettes.. thats hardly breaking news though

sometimes they play badly in any value of tourny.

hes either a lucky fish or as jezza says hes put you on a 6 and is gonna try get you off on the turn when an overcard comes

You expect him to fold?Huh?

Some of the calls I have been getting recently in cash games are unbelievable, it is as though they can see my hole cards. - short term these cals hurt, but long term they MUST be profitable for you ?!

His flop call is justified by the implied odds that his numerous draws are giving him: 2 jacks or eights on the turn/river give him trips, plus the runner/runner straight that m3boy mentioned. He is also already ahead of many holdings such as T8o, and J7o.

did any1 notice he was playing for an inverted wilson, not in your hand but the turn river wilson combo, advanced poker indeed
