Wigan...lucky this season and I don't think Hutchings is the man for the job.
Fulham...Sanchez??? Shows how much he knows by just about trying to recruit his NI squad. The only thing that might stop them coming bottom will be the fight that he'll instill in them.
Brum...I don't think Bruce can get as much out of his side than Keane and Davies will. I don't think Brum will be getting close to the established Prem sides.

Derby have a load of good youngsters and some money to spend, much more potential than say Watford or Sheff U last season

i asked as an interested observer not as a fan of a particular club. i believe that given time , he could develop into a decent manager , having benefited from working alongside big Sam and also his time spent working under some great managers at Anfield.

You could be right, I didn't see much from him at England that made me think that he was a top notch manager in the making, albiet I accept this could be down to the management setup/tactics

Derby, Wigan + Fulham.

Birmingham, Sunderland, Bolton + Man City also to be in the mix.

Derby have a squad of Championship players with the odd sprinkling of quality, unless they can significantly add to that BD will need to work miracles to keep them up.  Birmingham and Sunderland have a bit more quality but will still be in the mix along with Wigan and Fulham.  I also think Bolton will toil ala Charlton (although Charlton contributed to their own downfall with the premature sacking of Dowie and the nonsense appointment of Les Reed).  Recent history suggests Reading will find it a lot tougher as well.  If I had to pick three I'd go for

Fulham
Derby
