Robert called me yesterday, what a lovely surprise!

He's not been too well, & he's had some problems, but he's in good shape now, & fit & well, hale & hearty.

He is easing himself back into poker, &, we hope, blonde.

I hope you'll welcome him back with typical blonde warmth, he's been much missed round here.

It would be lovely to have Robert back, he's been noticeably missed. (and not just for his bb HU organising skills!)

I was standing next to Tikay at the time he got the call and heard him mention my name during it, so was intrigued to know who he'd been speaking to.
