No seriously this is a simple easy fold. Add up the times they are bluffing.....10% as you could well have the nuts and compare that to the times when they have the stone colduns= you lose more than you win! Fold.

doesn't the bet on the turn make a smaller set look more likely than the straight?

Not to me. He could only have TT (no chance of 88, and KK would raise pre) and it's most likely he'd have raised on the flop with tens.

His turn bet is more likely to try and keep the pot small (hoping for just a call) with a hand like TJ, or TsJs.

i would of liked more time to think but you dont get very long on blonde. also another factor in reducing my time was someone had gone all in for $200 into a pot of $30 and walked into my nut straight on the other table. ended up passing thinking that he could of even flopped it.

If he did flop it, then his turn lead is good but he should re-raise here.
