I do have a blonde account and i must admit i hardly ever play on it, which i do feel a touch guilty about to be honest as I would miss this place if it went under due to financial pressure.

I am pragmatist though and like alot of winning poker players i go where i can make the most money. As an stt grinder ipoker is a no no, as tank's brief effort at playing there demonstrated.

Although it would be fantastic if everyone that has a blonde forum account played most of their poker on our cardroom,  we all know that will never happen.

What you could do however is download the card room, shove a few bucks on there and join in with the blonde comps/leagues etc.   its the support that counts.

Just joined the cardroom, made a small deposit and a chatbox has popped up, it's Vince from Poker Support.

He wants to call me to check that the phone number that I have submitted is correct!!

Ok, so I let him call then he wants to confirm my address etc. etc., I explain that if I deliberately input wrong details then I would confirm those to him!!! I asked where he was calling from and who he represented, from Mauritius and Blonde he said!

Now this may be normal but I have join more than a dozen online card rooms and never had this happen, I also have no intention of disclosing my private details to someone overseas!!!

Could you confirm that this is standard procedure for Blonde.

The pop up chat is to confirm details if there are any errors in the sign up process, its a relatively new thing and believe it or not, speeds up the process of signing up.

As always, if ANYONE has any problems with signing up or depositing on the poker room, PM me.

CRIPPIN is sorted now ... welcome onboard fella.

I've been a member of blonde since bB2 but only started playing on the blonde cardroom since last month. Can't believe I didn't try it sooner, the cash games are soooo incredibly soft compared to pokerstars and full tilt. Well worth it, even without the 30% rakeback.

Snoopy I have seen you play. By comparison Kev is a god and you need to show some respect to your older and larger peer. I have seen him enter a poker room and it fall silent. Every waitress in the place realises that an easy day of serving coffee and Tuna sandwiches will be replaced by hourly demands for ..double sausage, bacon, beans, hash browns, and two eggs. Four slices and seven cups of tea.
The dealers will be rewarded with his wisdom on how to deal him AA every hand. While he leers down their blouse...and thats the guys.

The other players have to shove a sock in their mouth to stop the laughter of his play. Kev will throw his usual insults of "muppet" at us all. A small price to pay when he donates all his chips to us.

So Snoops, when you think you can raise your game to this level., then feel free to give this lovely chap some stick.

I raise my hands in defeat...

I swapped my nightly MTT (only $11 I'm afraid) onto Blonde a month or so ago after the demise of the PNL MTT and managed to take down the $6K gtd - woo-hoo!!!!!

I play a few mtt's on blonde and after I finish working off a bonus at FT, I expect I'll be playing more often on there.  I quite like the card room, but resizable tables would be really nice.  The small is too small and normal is too big Smiley

Keep up the good work guys Smiley

Nice result technolog

Deposited for the 1st time last week as Kev sorted my missing deposit option out.

Is it public knowledge what % of the rake blonde get (like it is with DTD) or is it top secret? Just interested but I suppose I could make a close guess.

No, it's not public knowledge, & cannot really be made so. Each skin does it's own deal with i-poker or, as in our case, Bowmans or whoever, & if we all revealed the % we get, the market would go crazy!

I will say, that by any criteria, I am personally very comfortable with the way we split what we get from Bowmans with our players. You'd be happy if you knew, too. Trust me. On this occasion, you have to!

Thank you Sword, & all the others who have said stuff in the same vein.

You'd be astonished at how few of our "solid" & regular blonde Members do not play on bpc very much, if at all. We've failed miserably to "convert" Forum users to our cardrooom, & there may be many reasons for that. (see my next Post). Part of the reason for this thread was to try & address this problem.

Many thanks to those who are now switching across to blonde, also to those who have always supported us. It is the Cardroom, & Cardroom alone, that pays for everything blonde.

Quote "blondepedia arrives soon, that's gonna be just terrific, but you could never imagine the hard work that's gone into it"

I know that this name arises from a combination of 'Blonde' and 'Encyclopedia' but can't help thinking it sounds a bit dodgy?

It's no secret - why should it be? - that as well as playing on blonde, I play on many other Online Cardrooms. (But on i-Poker, I stick to blonde, except for Blue Square Fessie & GUKPT Super Sats).

That makes no sense, it just does not.

But I do so because there are some things about the i-Poker Network's software I just don't like, or struggle to get comfy with. I am not alone in this.

Kev & Denis are aware of these weaknesses, & working very hard with Bowmans & i-Poker to address them. I think they will get them all sorted in due course, I really do. Bear with them, please.

I have, personally, asked Kev & Denis to deal with these items, if you want to add to the list, please feel free!

1) I need bigger playing cards, they are too small for me. (No eyesight jokes purlease....)

2) I want better structured Tourneys. Give me Deep Stacked, long clock jobbies, & I'll play them 24/7.

3) I want "blonde only" Tables, so we can have "private" evenings.

They are working on 1) & 2), & I believe they have in fact already sorted 3).

So very soon, in the next week or so, we can have private blonde only Tourneys, & we plan to have evenings set aside for that. Anyone fancy a little cash action with the mug that is tikay, or even some Heads-Up?

Kev will Update you on this very soon.
