2) Sod Yahtzee - when will Pass The Pigs be incorporated into Blonde?
Lol, hours of fun sitting there finger on nose waiting for some unattentive soul to realize that while he's deciding which card to discard the game has finished!!
Hmmmm.
Pass the Pigs is the game with the two small pigs that you throw, and get points as to whether they land on their feet, or snouts, or side or whatever.
The game you describe is what I know as Donkey.
Oh YES, Pass the Pigs is WICKED. I got trophies for it.
I suppose you represented your county at it ?? SIGH !!

Getting back to business, I HAVE to use 4 colour decks Online these days, & it's a real struggle for me "live", especially in dimly lit Venues. I can see the difference between Red & Black, but to see the difference betwen hearts & diamonds, or clubs & spades, I need to be in Seat 4, 5 or 6. I bet a flush draw last night on a padooki turn.....

Speaking of which this would be a tiny complaint about the APAT Dublin event, i'm guessing it wasn't the fault of the APAT rather than the cardroom but the numbers on the cards were so big that i found i had to lift the card right up off the table to see the suit underneath the number

You are ON.
If Kev sets up a little Cash Table - maybe $1-$2, or $2-$4, we'll get it on, you & me. Now don't be crying when I bluff you again. I've got 2 bluffs through in the last 18 months, one against you, one against Kev.

Can the cards look like this?
(With the 4-colour option of course)

Is there another way of seeing one's hole cards? I put them under my nose, better to see them.
Seriously, I was not aware of that problem, sorry. Maybe in 2008, APAT should insist on cards of a certain specification. Venues now give us pretty much everything we ask for, including our own Rules, timings, structures, everything, as we fill every Venue we go to, so I'm sure that's possible.

not sure of a game called donkey, the game i'm thinking of involved numerous players and three cards of same value being removed for each participant. Then everyone used to pass a card face down to the players on their left while receiving a card from the player on their right. When you got 3 of a kind you put your finger on your nose and the last one to put their finger on their nose got a letter next to their name. First a P then an I then a G - once you get all three letters your out!
Yep, very similar to Donkey, except we got five cards and collected suits, and losing players were D-O-N-K-E-Y.

Normally i just lift the bottom left hand corner of each card and i can see both number and suit, sometimes with the big Kem cards i have to lift it slightly more than normal.
With the cards they used and the fitz i had to lift nearly 50% of the card off the table to see whether my all black AJ was suited or not

Hope the link is ok, this maybe where AndrewT got his card mods from. You can change the table here.

I swear by modding my cards and tables now it makes it so much easier to multitable.

For a small fee you can incorporate the cards that I have designed. I've just done the Queen of Hearts for now, but it gives you an idea of their superior quality.

I'm jealous! The problem I have with APAT weekends is that I spend all weekend watching folks play, but can't play myself. It hurts, I tell ya! Personally, I like the big font Kem cards best.
