Well, there is only one English player alive today who possesses the vision and skill to execute the kind of passes he made tonight.
Difficult to select a Man Of The Match but Beckham's input was as good as anyone's.
On a different note, Crouch is the only striker I know who beats 5 men whilst running back towards his own goal.

Beckham was excellent again.  That ball he put in for Crouch was amazing.

agreed beckham was good tonight and proved why he should never have been tossed to one side when mclaren took over.

just hope he continues impressing and doesnt drop into the comfort zone now he realises hes needed.

great goal from joe cole fantastic technique excellently executed deserves more credit for it and i think if the likes of beckham had scored it everyone would of been raving about it.

dont get the critisism of crouch. yes hes not pretty to watch but he offers us something different, he scored one with a great header and as good a quality of ball it was from beckham he still took the header well. he also played a major part in the bulid up for coles goal.

cant see many changes for the isreal game, rooney in for the suspended crouch, ferdinand i for king and hopefully a right back. bridge done well enough at left back but may be replaced by ashley cole.

all just my opinions guy feel free to laugh at any of them i wont accuse you of flaming im not that sensitive

For me Beckham played very well but if any other player had his injury he wouldn't have stayed on the pitch. Same as the delay before taking him off against Portugal at the last WC. Any other player would have been hooked.

Joe Cole's goal was excellent and Lampard played ok for me.

King gets better every time I see him. Robinson scares the bejeezus out of me.

If only Cech was English!

Or should I say Peter Chester.

Carson looked good at Charlton but Benitez loves Pepe so I doubt he'll get a game at Anfield unfortunately.

Please not James again. If ever there was a guy who couldn't produce for country after great club spells it was James. How many high profile blunders can one guy make?
