Kenneth Hatts, RIP

The Times is worth a read if for nothing else, it's Obituaries, where it somehow locates the most extraordinary people who have moved on.

Today, amongst a score of others, they featured the Late Kenneth Hatts. He was 97, God Bless him.

Kenneth did all sorts of weird & wonderful things, but his lasting legacy was to do all the illustratiions for "Goat Husbandry", said to be the definitive book on the subject. His sketches of Murcian, & Toggenburg Goats, were a class apart.

Boring? To some, maybe. The fifth Edition of "Goat Husbandry" (it's an indispensable bedside book) can still be purchased, second hand, for $45.
