Agree the whole handshake and ramifications are trivial really. It would just have been better for Suarez to come back into the fold after the ban and get his head down. Deffo better for Liverpool if he does this. Banging in goals and playing well is the best way to move forward after controversy. Even though Liverpool don't want to appeal they seem intent on dragging the issue out and making these controversial public displays about what they think. KD snapping at the press, t-shirts, no hand shake. Better for them all round if they just crack on with the football really.

It looked as though Kenny snapping was down to finding out about Suarez's non-handshake on live TV tbh. As someone before said I don't blame him for snapping at the loaded questions either.

Moving on from the shenanigans...
Imo Carroll is the best signing out of Downing/Henderson/Carroll. Downing is just an absurd deal which I don't understand at all. As for Henderson, what had he even done beforehand to pay so much for him ? It seems really unlikely that Liverpool are going to get back into the CL this season tbh and whether Dalglish wins the cup or not that has to be seen as a failure. I know Bellamy has dodgy knees but you didn't have a game for a week, why didn't he play today ? So many strange decisions.

Totally agree with Monda about Henderson, didn't think he was that good and has been terrible for Liverpool imo. You barely see him all game, just seems to pass him by. Thought Downing would be better than he has been. Liverpool have been shit with the final ball all season and today was the same.

In Uruguay if you walk straight past somebody with your hands down by your sides and look directly at the floor it signifies you want to shake hands with that person. |
