As it should have been. But that's because of Kelly's injury. Seriously, only 5 minutes before then?

Could have given you 20.
Liverpool are really struggling to score goals. Carroll coming back?

We will struggle to score, as we don't have an out and out striker in the squad. Really needed to sign one (or keep Carroll), and Rodgers was left out to dry by the owners when a replacement (Dempsey) wasn't signed for the difference of a few million.
No arguing that the side is playing some good football, but all that means nothing if you can't score more than the opposition.

Agree it was very strange that without Agger injury, would he have really only added on 1min.
However we lost mainly because we didnt' score when we were massivley on top in the 1st half.
Sending off / Pen - if it happens to you it never is, if it was them I'd be screaming for it.
look so light up top though, will be an issue until January too.

Man U's summer-signing was the difference in this game.
Clever work by Ferguson to replace Webb with Halsey...

Shame to see the fans couldn't keep to the word of their clubs.
A few idiots during You'll Never Walk Alone, a few idiots during the match and then some really ugly stuff after the match. Pictures on sky are shameful.
This was never going to be anything more than symbolic today; the very infancy of a change in attitude. It does highlight just how much work there remains to be done.

What happened ?
I seen the replay of the foul about 10 times, thought it was a red, both feet came off the ground, easily could've broke his leg, send him off, dirty tackle.

I seen the replay of the foul about 10 times, thought it was a red, both feet came off the ground, easily could've broke his leg, send him off, dirty tackle.
The main incident - as reported by Sky - was a Liverpool fan making an airplane gesture at the final whistle to the away fans. A section of the United fans then decided to start chanting "where's your Munich song?", while the chap was ejected from the stadium by stewards.
A few minutes later (with the United fans being kept behind as is standard for the traffic to clear), the "always the victim; never at fault" song started.
FWIW, as a spurs fan, I know full well this isn't particular to any individual team. I've been in the stands when the Sol Campbell songs have been belted out. And the Adebayor one (still can't believe he was happy to sign for us). Whenever Wenger is around, the fans sing "sit down you paedophile" and then cheer when he does.
In contrast, our fans are some of the wittiest on the terraces and we have a great time. Always be an idiot in whoever's shirt. 30,000 fans. Must be an idiot in there somewhere.
A small section of the Chelsea fans still sing "spurs are on their way to Auschwitz" whenever we play them.
The Muamba incident was something that brought the fans together. Had it been an arsenal player who collapsed during the game, I'm confident that the vast majority of the fans at WHL would have been just as supportive.

Problem is that as well as the decent majority, football also attracts the lowest common denominator as well. Just a snapshot of society unfortunately.

According to the BBC there were several tweets from Liverpool supporters wishing Mark Halsey had died of cancer.
The double standards are breathtaking.
