Genuinely hope it does. Shaquiri is better and cheaper.

Unfortunately it is likely it will be announced next week.

likely to be announced next week without a price being agreed yet talks cant take place till that happens surely or are you saying liverpool are illegally tapping up a player?

You jest Iron? If they are listening/negotiating you realise Liverpool will have probably had permission to come to personal terms long before a final fee and method/schedule of payment is agreed? That's not to say it won't fall through as they can't meet in the middle, but that doesn't mean personal terms and permission to speak to a player don't happen a long time before that. Perfectly legally too.

AFAIK southampton havent given permission and hope to keep lallana and wont give liverpool permission to speak untill they agree a price, or thats whats coming from the saints board
last i heard saints were hoping to keep everyone i dont think that will happen but hope the board are true to there word
as we could lose shaw, lallana, lovern, schneiderlin, ward prowse and rodrigous might have been there too if it wasnt for his injury

board have said on a few occasions now all these players are under contract the club doesnt need the money and doesnt need to sell so wont be selling unless teams pay over the odds

yes its odds on we will lose players shaw and lallana are likely to go but neither player have had a price agreed which gives me a glimmer of hope

why would the saints board come out with we wont sell unless the price is right then allow the player to speak to another team and unsettle him when he agrees a deal with that team
who hasnt met the asking price

All I know is they're negotiating, whatever they say for the sake of PR to your fans.

If its going to be £25m I'd rather go for one of several others.

How many season ticket holders do you have? I can think of that many reasons not to come out with the truth. Face up to modern football, the board lie, the players dont care and deals get done.

A quick congrats to Ancelotti. Finally matching Sir Bob with a third European Cup. Enormous achievement.

Rodgers has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Just in case any of you have forgotten, today is the 25th anniversary of when you first thought of putting in a bid for Michael Thomas, and Fever Pitch was conceived..

Probably the best ending to a league ever. I remember jumping out my chair when Thomas scored. Was just incredible. And I prefer Liverpool to arsenal, so no rub intended.

From a non liverpool view- without a doubt an amazing ending to the season! As per Aguero in 2012, if you read it in Roy of the Rovers, you wouldn't buy it again as it would be deemed to far fetched.
