If someone would offer you 1 million pounds for your pet, and s/he would state that part of the deal is that you will never ever to have another pet, would you take the money?

I've had 2 cats in my life. One called Snoopy (lol!), and another called O'malley. They both got run over by cars and I was devastated (I was only a kid at the time). Still, I wouldn't have sold them then (or now, if they were still around) for £1million. The proviso about not being alowed another pet again would be irrelevant.

A pet's a member of the familly, I couldn't sell one, even if I could replace it. (not I don't count reptiles, hamsters, gerbils, canaries etc as pets - more living wallpaper - cats, dogs, rats, parrots etc - they are pets).

I read a story once about Sly Stallone.  When he was a struggling actor, he sold his dog .  When he got his big break with Rocky, he waited for the guy who had bought his dog and gave him about $10,000 to buy his dog back.  I would never sell my dog regardless of the money.  Money is only money,   a dog is a friend.

Here it is told by an annoying American called Tony Robbins
