Dan Carter is OUT. Holding  , he moved in on a flop that gave him a flush draw and a straight draw. Andy Johnson called with A-Q off. Turn - non-diamond queen. River - non-diamond ace. Ohhh sick sick sick. Johnson is on fire!

Actually now I read that last it sounds painful.

is dan carter still in? if so how many chips he got? any updates appreciated. ta muchly.

Other counts I happened to notice include Paul Jackson on around 18k, and Pippa Flanders on just 8k - eek.

Paul is only happy when he has 60-80% of the average stack, any more he gets out of his comfort zone. Wish him luck from me please, and also Tim Blake...and ask wtf was he doing in that hand with shaf with a poxy straight draw!

Oy you, who pressed your button? Shouldn't you be swimming in your money bank?

Despite your best efforts putting me off on msn managed to win the laddies 100 rebuy and another wsop seat on stars...in fact only one i didn't win was mansion, where i had 10% with flushy and busted after 5 mins...god he runs bad

Pippa Flanders still ludicrously short. She moved in for her last 9500 from the small blind but got herself called by a guy who reminds me a bit of Tom Waits.

Pippa Flanders -

Waitsyboy -

Board -  two spades

Wasn't there a 3rd place in one of the big comps in the Crypto series too? If that was you, well done sir.

And UTG+1 scoops, what looks to be a 50k pot. Who is this person you might ask?

It's Mark 'Mantis01' Allden, who'll writes quite often (and thoughtfully) on the PHA boards.

So the indentity is revealed. I really like his posts and remember talking in manchester to you about this and us both saying 'if only we knew who he/she was!'  now we do. good luck mark, i look forwad to the analysis of this hand on pha

edit: realise i deleated the bit about the kk vs aa vs qq hand

Pippa Flanders is OUT, she made a good call with on a two spades board after a mid position limper put her in on the flop after she had lead out, he held but a turn meant it was all over.

Womblewatch -- 32k

Red Dog has doubled through to 24k, he had two spades on a Two Diamonds board and pushed and got a call from trip 9's but hit his spade.

Jeff Buffenbarger is OUT.

Flop  and Jef bets 1300; Mateyboy on the small blind calls him.

Turn -  - Jeff bets 1300 again, but this time SB MB raises to 13,000 to cover him.  Eventually Jeff calls.

Jeff -

SBMB -

Oh the perils of slow-playing those aces.

Quadruple-up for Dave Smith!

All-in for a rather sad 4100 preflop, he found 3 callers.

The checked-down board read  and no-one had anything to beat Dave's pocket kings. He's still pretty short, mind.

Double-up for John Burke with aces, but he's still only got about 10k.

Also Kenny Graham has gone, 99 against an AK that hit.
