I am an avid reader of blogs, absolutely love 'em but i must admit it's starting to get a bit silly!!
It seems just about everyone has one these days.
I use a great bit of kit to keep up to date with them (bloglines) it shows you when they have been updated, but there are so many now and my list gets longer!
Have a look at mine, does anyone know of any other good ones??  crazy

Ian

you know i was just going to post something about blogs, and how almost everyone has one, You just aint a good enough poker player if you dont!

One blog i really really enjoyed reading was form a poster on here:

Junior's Blog, it was such an enjoyabvle read from how he started in poker to how he decided to go for it and take a year out to play pro for that year, and also so much detail about his first massive pro tourney he came second in to El Blondie

I must say Greg best blog ive read in a while mate, great stuff cant wait for your next update mate.

awwwww! - thanks guys!
chuffed you like it. - (goes red and gob smacked!)   Lips Sealed

I updated again yesterday, the plan is to update twice weekly.

I initially set it up retrospectively with my old trip reports and poker articles that i had penned and sitting onmy hard drive but now i intend to go into full diary / blog mode but it wont be dry, boring hand details stuff only - it will be very much comment / opinion based.

Hope you continue to enjoy.

the big mistake that some of these blogs are making/starting to make is instead of saying "i went here, i went there" or "this is funny" they are just going on about how unlucky they are, how they got rivered here and outdrawn there.
Some just are depressing and to be honest i ain't interested in bad beat/i feel so sorry for myself stories.
Interacting with viewers, giving their advice or just telling stories is what these should be about IMO.
Keep it light, keep it funny or nobody will read them anymore.
I also believe they will attract sponsors if done well too.

I bet just about every poker player out there either has a blog or if not, has considered at some point and probably still is considering starting one up! Why not just jump on the band-wagon? After all, "when" we all get hugely famous and rich from poker it will be interesting to look back at how we made our way up there! Of course I think it also helps to write down whats happened and analyse it. Some do this a lot better than others though.

There are a lot of really good blogs around now, hard to keep up with! Dpommo's and Milkybarkid's come to mind as mentioned by nemisis. Junior's looks another good'un after just glancing at. Most need spiceing up a bit (mine included  Undecided), but the blog's like these ones out there really are a good insight and great read. Long may they continue!

Yeah, some great blogs there. Mine was started up purely for my own benefit - something that I could a) record what I'd been up to in poker, b) use as something with which to clarify my thoughts on important hands/situations and c) practice my poker writing. I started it in April, but didn't tell anyone about it, or link to it anywhere, till I stuck it in my sig here.

Nice to see someone's reading it...
