After event 6 the latest league table can be found here

http://www.blondepoker.com/index.php?q=node/10215

Silo still tops the table, and almost added to his tally in the latest event, but he was outplayed on the points bubble by a superior player Wink and just missed out on a final table appearance.

Kinboshi kept up his spectacular league record and again scored NO POINTS !!

tikay made the final but like Silo on the points bubble, he was schooled by a much better player and exited in 9th place Smiley

After by far the best player in EVENT 6 got outdrawn to finish 4th ... it was left to Reenot, Upthe Mariners and Eck to fight for the podium places ... Reenot fought with the shorter stack for a while but was forced to bow out in a gallant 3rd place ...

This left the kipper fiddler from Grimsby heads up with the pure athlete from scotland who runs on a fuel of deep fried mars bars and buckfast !!

It didnt last long and every pot seemed to be massive as the 2 Mugs Gladiators fought out every pot ... eventually Eck prevailed and despite his "how did i win that, i havent got a clue how to play omaha" quote ... he walked staggered away from EVENT 6 with maximum points.

Thanks to everyone who is supporting the league, whether you have only played 1 game or all of them, your support is much appreciated and with 4 games left, it really is all to play for. I have a feeling that the title will go all the way to the last game, which is a $20 Freeze with $300 added to the prizepool.

See you at the next one .... $10 NLHE Freeze on Thursday at 8.30pm.

Enjoyed last nights tourney, played in a very friendly and compeitive spirit. Managed to finish in the points even though this was only my second ever game of omaha (the first being about half an hour earlier) beginners luck I hear you cry. Must admit its a game you have to concentrate a lot more on with so many possibilities to consider. (unless your like Kev, stick em in and pray). Hope to play in as many lge comps as possible as playing with such high calibre opponents will only help to improve my game!

Looking forward to the next one.

PS. only joking Kev.
